"Southern Heavenly Gate Plan" is a self-developed aviation-themed sci-fi IP in China, with its core concept being the construction of a future integrated aerospace defense system composed of large strategic aerospace carrier platforms, aerospace fighters, tactical mechas, and other components. Although it currently remains more of a sci-fi concept and an imagination of future equipment, the direction it embodies includes aerospace integration, highly reliable power systems, extreme-environment materials, and intelligent equipment manufacturing. Relevant reports also indicate that the "Southern Heavenly Gate Plan" can be seen as an exploratory vision for future aerospace equipment. From the perspective of the chemical pump industry, although the Southern Heavenly Gate Plan is not a traditional chemical project, many of the fundamental technologies involved share commonalities with high-end pump equipment. First is the transport of propellants and special media. Future aerospace equipment may involve special fluids such as liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen, liquid methane, aviation fuel, coolants, and hydraulic oil. These media are characterized by low temperatures, high pressures, flammability, easy vaporization, or strong oxidation, imposing extremely high requirements on pump materials, seals, cavitation control, and cleanliness. The technical expertise of chemical pumps in areas such as cryogenic pumps, magnetic drive pumps, canned motor pumps, high-speed pumps, and corrosion-resistant pumps can provide important references for aerospace fluid transport systems. Second is thermal management and cooling circulation. Aerospace fighters, high-power radars, laser equipment, electric propulsion systems, and electronic devices generate substantial heat, requiring stable and reliable cooling circulation systems. Chemical pump companies can focus on developing miniaturized, highfficiency, low-vibration, and long-life cooling pumps to enhance their adaptability in aerospace thermal control systems. Third is high-reliability sealing and adaptability to extreme environments. The future equipment represented by the Southern Heavenly Gate Plan demands much higher reliability than ordinary industrial scenarios. Pump products must maintain stability under conditions such as high and low temperature shocks,, vacuum, strong corrosion, and long-term operation. Future design directions for new chemical pump products should evolve toward leak-free structures, low-temperature-resistant materials, composite ceramic bearings, high-speed motor drives, intelligent monitoring, and modular maintenance. Therefore, the inspiration from the Southern Heavenly Gate Plan for the chemical pump industry is that chemical pumps should not remain confined to traditional fields like petrochemicals, environmental protection, and metallurgy, but should toward aerospace fuel transport, low-temperature media circulation, high-end thermal management, and specialized equipment support. Whoever masters pump technologies that are low-temperature, high-pressure, leak-free, high-cleanliness, and highly reliable will have a better chance to enter the new track of future aerospace equipment and high-end manufacturing.
