Application of chemical process pumps in PPC industrialization devices

During the PPC production process, chemical process pumps must adapt to high temperatures (up to 90–150°C), high viscosity, and media-sensitive operating conditions. To this end, the pump body and wetted parts are typically made of corrosion-resistant high-performance stainless steel or special alloys, and are equipped with single or double mechanical seals to ensure long-term stable operation with zero leakage. The pump’s wear resistance low-shear design effectively protect the molecular structure of polymer materials, preventing degradation during conveying and ensuring that the final product’s quality and molecular weight distribution meet industrial standards.
In addition, chemical process pumps in the PPC unit are integrated with intelligent control systems enabling precise regulation of flow, pressure, and temperature. Through variable frequency drives and PID closed-loop control, the pumps can automatically adjust flow rates based on process requirements, ensuring stable feeding to reactors, distillation columns, and condensation systems, thereby preventing uneven reactions caused by excess or insufficient supply.
