HES(U) Ultra-Low Carbon Stainless Steel High-Quality Molten Urea Pump / Urea Hydrolyzer Feed Pump

In 1966, China’s first urea plant using the total recycle aqueous solution process of Stamicarbon, the Netherlands, adopted imported molten urea pumps. Later, the predecessor of our company, in cooperation with the Central Iron & Steel Research Institute under the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, successfully developed China’s first domestically produced molten urea pump made of 316L ultra-low carbon stainless steel, achieving successful localization.

The HES(U) pump is mainly designed for handling urea melt. Urea melt is characterized by high temperature, easy crystallization, corrosiveness, and significant fluctuations in operating conditions. Our company adopts API 610 OH2 technical parameters, a double-suction impeller with self-balanced axial thrust, and heat preservation for wetted parts using hot water, thermal oil, or steam. Dead zones at critical locations are eliminated and the internal flow passages are optimized.

Therefore, we apply particularly stringent design requirements to this pump, especially in terms of axial thrust control, anti-crystallization design, and sealing reliability, ensuring long-term stable operation.
