Material Grade List of Ultra High Temperature / High Pressure Corrosion ResistanEnglish Version
I. Heat-resistant Austenitic Stainless Steel (300–450℃ high temperature, general high pressure, main material for refining & coking industry)
316L (022Cr17Ni12Mo2): Resists medium-high temperature chloride ions, weak acid and coke cutting water. Long-term service temperature ≤380℃, max pressure resistance 10MPa. Standard wetted material for full BB/OH/VS pump series.
347 (06Cr18Ni11Nb): Dedicated for ultra-high temperature working conditions, long-term operation at 450℃ with excellent intergranular corrosion resistance. Suitable for high-temperature asphalt, coking oil and molten urea; core material for 450℃ magnetic drive pumps.
317L (022Cr19Ni13Mo3): Higher molybdenum content, applicable to high-concentration high-temperature sulfuric acid, brine and coke powder wastewater. Special for first-stage impellers of high-pressure multistage pumps.
904L (015Cr20Ni24Mo4Cu): For strongly corrosive high-temperature dilute sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. Custom material for high-pressure chemical process pumps.
Ultra-low carbon stainless steel (00Cr series): Special for molten urea pumps, avoids intergranular corrosion under high-temperature amino medium, temperature resistance up to 420℃.
II. Hastelloy / Nickel-based High-temperature Corrosion-resistant Alloys (strong oxidizing high-temperature strong acid, limit working condition at 450℃)
Hastelloy C-276 (C276, UNS N10276): Recommended official material for high-temperature nitric acid, sulfuric acid and titanium tetrachloride. Core material for 450℃ magnetic drive pumps, resists strong oxidation corrosion and slight solid erosion.
Hastelloy C-22: For mixed high-temperature acid & alkali and combined redox corrosion. Custom material for containment shells and impellers of high-pressure chemical pumps.
Hastelloy B-3: For high-temperature concentrated hydrochloric acid and reducing acid media, internal alloy parts of high-pressure fluorine-lined pumps.
Inconel 625 (GH3625): For 450℃ ultra-high temperature molten salt and deep-sea high-temperature oil & gas. Special for shafts and sealing parts of deep-sea high-pressure chemical pumps.
III. Titanium Alloys (high-temperature chloride-containing, deep-sea and strongly corrosive media)
TA2 Pure Titanium (commercial pure titanium): For high-temperature seawater, salt-containing chemical media and titanium tetrachloride transportation. Temperature range 260–350℃, wetted parts of deep-sea high-pressure chemical pumps.
TC4 Titanium Alloy (Ti-6Al-4V): High-strength high-pressure working conditions, used for deep-sea gas-liquid mixed pumps and high-pressure refrigerant pumps, withstand both high temperature and high pressure.
IV. Duplex / Super Duplex Stainless Steel (high pressure, particle-containing, high-temperature brine)
2205 (S32205) Duplex Steel: For high-pressure coke cutting water and circulating water with trace coke powder, applicable to high-pressure multistage pumps below 300℃. Higher strength than 316L, wear and erosion resistant.
2507 (S32750) Super Duplex Steel: For high-chloride high-temperature brine and high-pressure oilfield media. Custom material for 45MPa high-pressure descaling pumps and BB5 high-pressure multistage pumps.
V. Non-metallic Lining / Wear-resistant Ceramics (medium-high temperature strong corrosion, high pressure ≤200℃)
F46 (FEP) fluorine lining: For clamp fluorine-lined pumps and IHF fluorine-lined self-priming pumps, resistant to all strong acids and alkalis, long-term service ≤180℃ for high-pressure corrosive chemical media, matched with SiC silicon carbide mechanical seals.
Wear-resistant ceramic: Used for containment shells and sliding bearings of 450℃ magnetic drive pumps, high temperature resistant, anti-coke powder erosion and self-lubricating.
PTFE Teflon: Sealing gaskets and lining accessories, compatible with various high-temperature strongly corrosive media.
VI. Special Heat-resistant Pressure-bearing Cast Steel for Casting (pump casing, high-pressure pressure shell)
CF8M (cast grade of 316L): Cast pump casing for API610 BB/OH series pumps, temperature resistance 380℃, max pressure 45MPa.
CF3M (ultra-low carbon 316L cast steel): Cast impellers and pump casings for high-temperature urea and nitric acid plants.
CA6NM (13Cr martensitic stainless steel): For high-pressure clean water and high-pressure descaling pumps, high-pressure shell material below 400℃.
