BB5 Type Double-Casing Barrel Multistage Centrifugal Pump

The HCSZ and HDSZ series pumps are single-casing or double-casing, radially split, horizontal multistage centrifugal pumps designed in accordance with API 610 10th Edition “Centrifugal Pumps for Petroleum, Petrochemical and Natural Gas Industries”. The pumps are centerline-mounted.
The impellers adopt a back-to-back symmetrical arrangement. Since the traditional balancing device used in conventional multistage pumps is eliminated, the pump becomes safer and more reliable when handling media containing particles.
According to user requirements, the first-stage impeller can be designed as either a single-suction or double-suction structure.
The HCSZ is a single-casing design, with external pressure-containing components manufactured by casting process.
The HDSZ is a double-casing design, with the external pressure casing manufactured by forging process, providing higher operational safety and reliability.
The inner cartridge adopts a pull-out design, allowing inspection and maintenance without removing the suction and discharge piping.
The hydraulic design of this series is identical to that of the HCSZ and HDSZ hydraulic models, featuring high efficiency and excellent cavitation performance.
The sealing system is fully designed in accordance with API 682 “Shaft Sealing Systems for Centrifugal and Rotary Pumps”, and can be equipped with various sealing, flushing, and cooling plans. Special designs can also be provided according to customer requirements.
Depending on shaft power and rotational speed, the bearings may adopt either:
Self-lubricated sleeve bearing structure, or
Forced lubrication bearing structure.
Viewed from the driver end, the pump rotates clockwise. Counterclockwise rotation can also be provided upon customer request.

Flow Range: 5 ~ 730 m³/h
Head Range: Up to 2800 m
Temperature Range: -80 ~ 210°C
Maximum Design Pressure: 30 MPa
HDSZ
Flow Range: 5 ~ 730 m³/h
Head Range: Up to 3400 m
Temperature Range: -80 ~ 450°C
Maximum Design Pressure: 35 MPa
Applications
The pumps are mainly used for handling high-temperature, high-pressure, and high-safety services such as:
Hydrogenation units
Cracking units
Ethylene plants
Aromatics units
PTA high-pressure circulation systems
Oilfield and offshore high-pressure water injection
Seawater desalination RO ultra-high-pressure water treatment systems
Petrochemical and chemical process applications
Suitable media include water or water-like liquids with:
Solid concentration less than 5 wt%
Particle size less than 0.2 mm
The pumps are also suitable for handling:
Boiler feed water
Grey water
Clean or particle-containing liquids
Typical applications include:
Steel plant coke cutting
High-pressure descaling systems
Coal chemical high-pressure grey water transportation
Oilfield water injection
Mine dewatering systems.
