 I. Product Overview

The BA Chemical Process Pump (BB1 Type) is a single-stage, single-suction, axially split, horizontally split case centrifugal pump designed and developed by Jiangsu Haifa Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in accordance with API 610 (11th Edition). This series is specifically engineered for demanding process conditions in industries such as petroleum, chemical, coal chemical, power generation, and metallurgy. It is suitable for conveying clean or slightly contaminated, corrosive, or high-temperature liquid media.

IV. Structural Features

1. Axially Split, Horizontally Split Case  
   The casing is horizontally split along the shaft centerline. Removing the top cover exposes all rotating parts without needing to disconnect suction/discharge piping, facilitating easy maintenance.

2. Double Volute Design (Large Sizes)  
   Effectively balances radial forces, reduces shaft deflection, and extends mechanical seal and bearing life.

3. Symmetrically Mounted Dual Bearings  
   Utilizes grease/oil-lubricated deep groove ball bearings or angular contact ball bearings, offering high load capacity and smooth operation.

4. Rigid Shaft Design  
   Generous shaft diameter ensures shaft deflection is well below the API 610 allowable limit (<0.05 mm), guaranteeing seal chamber stability.

5. Replaceable Wear Rings  
   Both the casing and impeller are equipped with replaceable wear rings, reducing long-term maintenance costs.

6. Multiple Sealing Arrangements  
   Can be configured with single/double mechanical seals, tandem seals, and API 682 seal flushing systems (Plan 11/21/23/31, etc.).
